Featuring artworks created in the 2000s, during the last decade of the artist’s life, the exhibition “Peaceful Moments: The Art of Itzchak Tarkay” combines paintings of elegant women and works on paper of landscapes. Through his unique style, Tarkay captures the balance of a hectic life through moments of serenity.
The exhibition was curated by David S. Rubin. “Peaceful Moments: The Art of Itzchak Tarkay” is sponsored by the Park West Foundation and features art on loan from Park West Museum.
In 2006, Albert and Mitsie Scaglione created the Park West Foundation to support underprivileged children and promote arts education efforts. Today, the Foundation—led by Director Diane Pandolfi—sponsors museum exhibitions all over the world.
